What happens when you come up empty handed after years of searching for the perfect table for your kitchen? You design one. One of the best ways to understand how to design a better product is to build it so that you can experience it. That's what I decided to do. I am far from a craftsman, but I learned so much as I went through building this table. It's all good in theory until you try to make it a reality. The limitations of my tools and materials dictated the details of this table.
