Independent Project

Filter Studio is based in West Michigan. A big influences and inspirations in my designs are from the great lakes that surround our state. Lake Michigan has a unique history of wooden ships and ship building. When I was designing this paddle, I tapped into the inspiration of Michigan's past. I took visual que's from the original oar design and mixed it with a fairly new sport of stand-up paddle boarding.
